Why We Built This

Most law firms describe themselves as aggressive and client-focused. We'll let our work speak to that. What we will tell you: Maverick Justice Group was built by someone who spent years inside Georgia's carceral system as a teacher. That experience sharpened one skill above all: seeing exactly where institutions fail the people they're supposed to serve, and demanding accountability with precision.

Criminal defense and education law aren't abstract practice areas. They're the two systems that most directly determine whether people — especially people without power — get a fair shot. We chose them on purpose.
